At TURSACK Inc., we firmly believe that the decisions we make today will have lasting effects on generations to come. This is why we have taken the steps necessary to become a chain-of-custody printer for the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) . Since 2007, TURSACK has promoted the act of responsible forestry and lent a helping hand to the environment by utilizing recycled stock for all office and marketing materials, as well as advocating its use in print jobs processed at the company.

The FSC was created in 1993, and in 1995 FSC-US was established as the official chapter for the U.S. The organization’s purpose is to coordinate the development and implementation of forest management standards throughout the U.S., to provide information to the public about the organization and promote FSC certification within the U.S.

The Chain of Custody certificate ensures that TURSACK and all those involved in the print process, from vendors to customers, are aware that the path taken by materials from the forest to the consumer and all stages of production in between is in line with the guidelines set forth by the FSC. The FSC’s founding goal is to eliminate the destruction of wild life habitats, water pollution and violence against people and wild life.

In order to make FSC certified paper the easy and accessible choice for our customers, CGX utilizes its own brand of recycled stock, Inspire Earth. Made of 10 percent post-consumer waste, it is certified by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI), the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) and the FSC. This is an inventoried stock at TURSACK Inc. and is always available to customers seeking to support the environment and take action to preserve resources for generations to come.

In 12 months ending December 31, 2009, CGX environmental efforts have managed to:

• Recycle more than 53,098 tons of paper - saving 902,000 trees
• Recycle approximately 700 tons of aluminum plates, saving energy and reducing air and water pollutants
• Installation of energy saving lights and equipment to reduce VOC emissions
